Death By Heart Attack Due To Lockdown from The Market Ticker
So we've shut down the economy and called all manner of things "non-essential."
In the handful of places where there are a lot of coronavirus cases hospitals are very busy.
In others, where there are few, there are literally no patients.
Nor are there in doctor's offices.
Nor in dentist offices.
That's a problem. All of these firms have a lot of very expensive people and equipment laying around, most of it financed. They have leases, often at ridiculously higher than office space rents. There is no money coming in.
These firms will go out of business. They are already laying off staff and in a few cases local and community hospitals are closing their doors for lack of patients.
What happens when you have a heart attack in one of those areas?
You're going to die.
Not from coronavirus -- but because your governor called the local medical center "essential" but it could not manage to keep its doors open during the lockdowns as there's no business that is not an emergency, and 90% of their usual business is non-emergency.
But without those medical centers there when you need a doctor or dentist right now he's not there.
Oh well.
All you screaming Karens and virtue-signalling idiots -- if it happens to you just remember as you expire that you not only begged for this state of affairs you demanded it.
