Duchess Kate in Favourite Preen Finella Dress for Royal Foundation Dinner!
Following a visit to the BBC yesterday afternoon focused on cyberbullying, William and Kate joined Harry and Meghan for the Royal Foundation dinner at Victoria House in Bloomsbury Square last night. The annual event offered a chance to celebrate the successes of the year with staff from the Foundation and representatives from organisations the royals work with closely. The event is private, but luckily this year a couple of images emerged.Performer Tom Walker sang a selection of songs at the event and shared images from the night.
Mr Walker said: "I had the honour of performing and meeting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the annual Royal Foundation dinner." Below William and Kate with the performer and the night's host Anita Rani.
BBC Countryfile host Anita Rani wrote on Instagram: "Such an honour to be asked to host the annual Royal Foundation dinner last night. Brilliant the Fab Four have come together to influence change. It was a wonderful evening!"
A photo of Harry and Meghan was also shared. The Duchess wore a Roland Mouret gown for the evening.

Victoria House is a Grade II-listed neoclassical building in London. It was constructed in the 1920s, built for, and for many decades occupied by, the Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society. The building was extensively remodelled in 2003 to create 300,000 square feet of office, retail and leisure space, including an original art deco ballroom, the Bloomsbury Ballroom function venue.

The Duchess was in a familiar dress tonight: her effortlessly chic Preen Finella midi dress. The Finella is one of the most popular styles in Kate's closet. The Duchess first wore it in 2016 for a Government House reception, and again in December 2016 for a private reception. Kate loved it so much she wore the black version for the Place2BeAwards the same year.
The dress is crafted from heavyweight satin and has a classic fit-and-flare silhouette that's elevated with a wide asymmetric hemline, front pleated wrap, and box pleats at the skirt.
The dress comes from the Pre-AW16 collection and is inspired by the late Deborah Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, an English writer, memoirist and socialite. She was the youngest and last surviving of the six Mitford sisters, who were prominent members of English society in the 1930s and 1940s. The Finella is described as "oozing a grandeur that she would approve of".
Kate teamed the dress with her red Jenny Packham clutch once again.
The Duchess accessorised with a new pair of green earrings. We'll update if they are identified.
In other news, it's eight years today since a very special announcement was made...
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :)
